This is a place for students to be transformed by God through worship, small groups, confirmation, retreats, service opportunities, and more. Every student finds a place of belonging here.
Did you know our youth are serving in multiple ministries within Resurrection? We have youth serving in the tech booth, in the worship band, in the coffee shop, in the nursery, on Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings and afternoons…the list goes on and on! Youth are even helping with a special needs child every Sunday morning–and doing an amazing job! We’d love to see adults serving alongside these youth as friends and mentors. What is God calling you to do? ContactCody Klaus to discuss some possibilities.
rezYouth
rezYOUTH is a light-hearted and accepting Wednesday evening gathering open to students in 6th-12th grade, where students are encouraged to bring their friends. It starts at 7:00 pm with a few high-energy games, then a short, relevant message given by one of the leaders. Afterwards, students break into small groups to discuss the message more in-depth, ending at 8:00 pm.
Summer Sizzler Camp
Summer Sizzler is a high-energy, genuine time for students to be immersed in 24/7 Christian community and fellowship during a week-long camp. Your student will experience a morning and evening formal gathering that will include worship music, mixers, messages, videos, and small group time within their cabin groups. There are daily events that are different each day. Events may include; team building activities, prayer time, big group games, swimming, canoeing, crafts, service projects and many more! Summer Sizzler is a week out of summer that will allow your student to experience the love of Christ through many different programs and activities and will truly be a week they’ll never forget!
Confirmation
Confirmation is a two year small group designed for 8th and 9th graders. We believe that by 9th grade it’s a student’s turn to choose his or her own faith. Through the two years of confirmation the gospel of Jesus Christ will be laid out and explained in a way that gives the students an opportunity to seek out the answers to their questions about Christianity. That way they can make an informed personal decision to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
MAC (Ministry as a Career)
MAC is a program designed for high school, college age and young adults who are exploring the call to ministry as a career. The program equips students with knowledge and experience to be better prepared for whatever area of ministry they feel called to.
